Memories to cherish forever

What I love about my craft is that photos are a frozen moment in time. My sons, nieces and nephews will never be the age they were when I took certain images that now hang neatly on my wall. Those frozen moments I will cherish forever and I love giving my clients that same gift. My personal photography style is a blend of posed and candid. We will laugh, snuggle, play games and be posed to get a nice mix of photos after your session. Keep in mind that you’re hiring me to capture the love between your family, not the connection with the camera. I have jokes, prompts, and games to help lighten the mood - you’re no doubt going to have fun during your session!

  • A little time is sometimes all we need.

    Mini Sessions are perfect for smaller families who want updated portraits, seasonal photographs, or beautiful images for Christmas cards without committing to a full session. These limited sessions are offered only a few times throughout the year during select Spring, Summer, and Fall dates.

    With 15 minutes together, we’ll focus on creating a beautiful variety of family portraits while keeping the experience quick and easy, especially for little ones with short attention spans.

    Your Mini Session Includes:

    • 15-minute photography session

    • 10+ fully edited, high-resolution images

    • Online gallery with high-resolution downloads

    • Personal print release

    • Access to the Jewels Photo Co. print store

    • Select dates and locations throughout the year

    Investment: $295

  • For the families who want to remember more than what everyone looked like.

    Full Family Sessions are built around your family rather than a predetermined location or setup. Before your session, we’ll plan an experience that feels familiar to the people you love most.

    Maybe that means photographing Saturday morning at home, running around your favorite playground, throwing a baseball on the field, dancing in the studio, baking together in the kitchen, or heading somewhere your family has made memories for years.

    We’ll still create the beautifully directed family portraits you’ll want hanging on your walls, but we’ll leave plenty of room for the movement, relationships, personalities, and little interactions that tell the bigger story of who your family is right now.

    Full Family Sessions can be booked throughout the year as my availability allows.

    Your Full Family Experience Includes:

    • A personalized session planned around your family

    • Location and activity planning

    • A complete gallery of all final edited images

  • Because getting the whole family together doesn’t happen nearly often enough.

    Extended Family Sessions are designed for multiple households coming together for one session, whether you’re celebrating a milestone, gathering while family is in town, or simply realizing it’s been far too long since everyone was in the same photograph.

    We’ll create the large extended family portrait everyone came for, but we won’t stop there. Each individual household will also have time for family portraits of their own, along with a thoughtfully selected variety of smaller groupings that capture the relationships within your family.

    Your Extended Family Session Includes:

    • Full extended family portraits

    • Individual portraits of each household

    • A variety of smaller family groupings

    • A complete gallery of all final edited images

    • Online gallery with high-resolution downloads

    • Personal print release

    • Access to the Jewels Photo Co. print store

    • Year-round booking based on availability

    Investment begins at $500 for up to three individual family units. Additional family units may be added for $75 each, allowing enough time to thoughtfully photograph everyone without rushing through the experience.

FAQs

+ What should we wear?

If you're like me, you love outift coordination with complimentary colors and not the super matchy-matchy family wardrobe. I'm here to help with coordinating! I will send you a personalized style guide upon booking your session to make styling easy peasy!

+ When should I expect my gallery?

Turnaround time for gallery delivery is 2-3 weeks (most of the time closer to the 2 weeks) with a sneak peek posted on Instagram and Facebook to help pacify the time.

+ What happens if my child misbehaves?

I am a Mom, former preschool teacher, former nanny, and have been an aunt since I was 4 years old. If anyone understands that sometimes kiddos don't cooperate, it's me! One of the perks of me doubling as a photographer is that I know how to grab child's attention to get some great photos of them interacting with both the camera and you! It's important to remember that you're hiring me to capture your family in action, so we're going to play, snuggle and laugh to get those gorgeous candid photos every Momma loves. (And if all else fails, you'll have some great content to use for their graduations into adulthood! ;)

+ Can I bring my pet?

YES! Pets are welcome. Please just make sure they have a leash as most parks require them and it's helpful for containing your pet while we get other photos.
